1. Who can apply to INNOTISSUE?
Anyone with a relevant Bachelor’s degree in fields such as biomedical sciences, bioengineering, biotechnology, medicine, materials science, pharmacy, or related disciplines can apply. Please see the Who Can Apply section for details.
2. Is the programme taught entirely in English?
Yes. All courses, assignments, and assessments throughout the two years are conducted in English.
3. Do I need an English proficiency test to apply?
Yes. Applicants must provide valid proof of English proficiency (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent), unless their previous degree was taught entirely in English and from an accepted institution.
4. What kind of degree will I receive upon graduation?
Depending on your mobility path, you will receive either a Joint Degree or Multiple Degrees awarded by the consortium universities you attended.
5. How many countries will I study in?
You will study in at least three different countries during the programme: France, Spain, and either Portugal or Italy. The Master Thesis can also be carried out in a fourth country through one of our partners.
6. Are Erasmus Mundus scholarships available?
Yes. Top-ranked applicants are eligible for full Erasmus Mundus scholarships that cover tuition, living costs, travel, and insurance.
7. Can I apply even if I haven’t completed my Bachelor’s yet?
Yes, as long as you provide a certificate of expected graduation and your degree is completed before the programme starts.
8. Is prior research or work experience required?
It’s not mandatory, but internships, lab work, publications, or relevant work experience will strengthen your application.
9. Where can I do my internship or thesis project?
You can complete your thesis or internship at one of the academic institutions, research centers, hospitals, or biotech companies within the INNOTISSUE network.
10. What is the application deadline?
Deadlines are announced on the official website and typically fall in early spring for the intake starting in the following academic year.
