Publications

Scientific dissemination is a key pillar of the INNOTISSUE programme. Students are actively encouraged to contribute to the broader research community by transforming their thesis work, group projects, and innovation outcomes into scientific publications.

Opportunities for Publishing

Students have the opportunity to:

• Publish in peer-reviewed international journals

• Present at international conferences in tissue engineering, biomaterials, and regenerative medicine

• Co-author articles with faculty and industrial mentors

• Contribute to joint consortium research outputs

Many research projects carried out during the programme are multidisciplinary and application-oriented, often yielding novel results with potential for high-impact publication.

Publication Platforms & Support

• Students receive training in scientific writing and research ethics

• Supervisors guide manuscript preparation and submission processes

• The consortium maintains collaborations with academic journals and scientific networks

• Select student papers may be submitted as part of special issues coordinated by INNOTISSUE faculty

Examples of Publication Themes

• Biofabrication of functional tissue constructs

• Novel biomaterial synthesis for regenerative applications

• Clinical translation of scaffold technologies

• Bioprinting and 3D model systems

• Smart hydrogels and responsive materials

• Ethical and sustainability perspectives in biomedical research

Impact and Visibility

Through publications, INNOTISSUE students:

• Contribute to advancing the frontiers of biomedical science

• Gain early visibility in the global research community

• Strengthen their CVs for PhD applications, fellowships, or industry careers
